HISTORY
Glassworks Plus was founded in 1986 as Steve's Autoglass servicing
Columbus and Central Ohio. We worked closely with many local insurance
agencies and quickly earned a reputation for the fast and high quality of
service we provided. In 1987 we expanded our services into residential and
commercial glass replacement in response to the requests of many of our
satisfied customers.
In 1992 we changed our name to Glassworks Plus to more closely reflect our
wider line of services offered.
In 1993 Glassworks Plus acquired Grady Glass in Chillicothe, Ohio.
The acquisition brought into the Glassworks Plus family one of the oldest
and most respected full service glass companies in the state of Ohio. Grady
Glass has been servicing Chillicothe and surrounding cities for almost two
centuries since it's founding in 1832.
1993 also saw Glassworks Plus expand into commercial contract glazing.
Around the same time Grady Glass began to service the Washington
Courthouse area.
The years since have seen Glassworks Plus bring our expertise to many
projects in and around Columbus, Ohio and other states including Michigan,
Maryland, West Virginia and Texas.
Glassworks Plus has been through many changes over the years while
adapting to changing market conditions. Most recently, in the fall of 2009 we
departed the autoglass portion of our business so we could focus our many
resources on delivering a high level of service to our commercial and
residential glazing customers.
